So, I realized that my last few weekend conversations have been a little focused on the harder parts of running a home business. My Bad! Let’s brag! 
Seriously, focusing on your past successes is extremely important, especially when you need to take business risks. It not only helps you to stay positive, but when your brain is focused on success, you will be more resourceful as you work through projects as well as challenges.
So what has been my biggest success as an entrepreneur?
Well, there have been several, and I think I’m in the midst of building my biggest success to date right now with the new format on eMoms at Home - but on the outside, I can’t say that I’m quite there yet. So I have to not only point to one of my biggest successes as an entrepreneur, it was also one of my biggest successes as a blog post (one of the most popular of all time around here): The Biggest Blog Post of My Life in which I made the announcement that because of the success of this site, Entrepreneur.com had hired me to write for them on their new blog network at Inspired Business Growth.

I believe it doesn’t matter what has been, neither, what can be… because only what you do - will have an affect.
My biggest success as an entrepreneur isn’t exactly something you can see. I don’t have a million dollars, I don’t have a huge business. What I do have though is the spirit to continue with my ideas. They say you have to fail how many times before you succeed?? And how many people give up after the first couple of tries?? We have to keep pressing on and that’s what makes us successful until we’re truly successful.
I think my biggest business success so far has been a result of my own dumb luck . . . It was finding a partner with whom I can really work. She’s motivated when I’m not, and she lets me motivate her when she’s not. She has skills that I don’t have and vice versa. We genuinely care about each other and each other’s families. She also gives me an added reason to be accountable for what I do.

I think that my biggest success is when I realized that I could actually sustain a reasonably stable income each month by combining a variety of income sources.

My biggest success as an entrepreneur was the realization that I could afford anything I really wanted. Granted, I don’t happen to want a Porsche, but anything I really want, I can have. I can take a day off, or a week off, or a month off. I can pay for my husband to quit his job and go back to school. I can play with the baby without worrying about being late for work. If we want to buy the expensive guacamole, we do.
The freedom that comes with that is amazing.
My greatest success so far has got to be that I was able to quit my full time job in May of this year to work from home full time.
I’m not stopping there, though. I’ll be working on increasing my income now and creating some information products.
I can definitely speak to the freedom of building a business and that you can’t put a price on the ability to be at home and work. When you get that call that a child is sick and you can drop what your doing and be there - it’s worth so much
To Boast: I tripled my business in 2 years. In qualification I earned a 5 day trip to san fransisco and in the following year I earned a brand new car - something I have never had — besides those tangible things, I also earned credibility and respect from my field. The creativity and uniqueness I bring to my work is recognized, and that means more to me than I can say.
Right now I’m sortof coasting and while the income from that is valid, it’s not enough now that I am divorced. I have ideas for affiliation and some are in coartship but it’s moving like molassis.
Both affilliation and blogging are again ideas of mine that are not being done in my field. I want to show the way

My biggest success as an entrepreneur to date, was starting my own IT consulting business and never spending a dime on advertising…my new clients came via word-of-mouth.
Even though I am working for a company again, I know that I posess the skills and determination to go it on my own again.

I’ll agree with another poster that my biggest success is probably learning to combine multiple monthly incomes but it’s also that I have been successfully providing virtual freelance assistance in a variety of areas for approximately a decade.
