What If We Speak What We Tweet?

I’m an all around tweeter, which means I am just as likely to ask advice about lunch as I am to tweet about business stuff – but the idea of actually saying what I tweet cracks me up.

How about you? Would your text tweets sound goofy in real life?

That’s hilarious! I actually Twitter just how I talk. I sometimes say “meh” although most people just think I have something stuck in my throat. I also try and keep in mind that absolutely anybody could read my tweets so I try not to say anything that I wouldn’t want the whole world seeing.

Hilarious! I would sound totally ridiculous – RT @Holly_Hanna blah blah blah hyper-link or # Follow Friday @emom

Too funny!

It’s also easier to get right to the point. You can make it fun without wasting everyone’s time. Unless you type a novel-length message that people have to read through all the way to the end just to get what you’re saying, then it’s just wrong. Personally, I try to keep things to a minimum. That way, people don’t get bored reading dribble-(okay, joke’s over)
