Wonderful questions! My most popular question I always ask myself is:

"Are my family dynamics in peace and harmony?"

For me, everything originates with good family interactions. Sure, I'm Barbara the Entrepreneur...but more importantly, I'm the all-powerful matriarch of my family. Bad dynamics makes for lousy work input as well.

Have a great weekend, Barbara

Hi Marla, this was a great post! I was going to skip it as I had so many posts in my reader. But when I saw the questions you asked I just had to read the whole post. I'm printing out those questions and spending some time today writing my answers to each one in my journal. Thanks for these!

Isn't community wonderful?! Certainly, your project will depend on time and financial resources, as well as targeting a cause or situation that you are passionate about. As an entrepreneur, you may find that your time is limited so you might be better off finding an established charity in your community and doing some volunteer work. Those are usually listed in the community newspaper and website. Local churches and the town hall will have information as well.
If you're thinking about starting your own mini-charity, be aware that it will be a lot of work! Many of my clients choose to donate a portion of their revenue to a suitable foundation and they feel great about the outcome.
If you offer a service, what charity might benefit from that service and how much time can you offer?
Just some food for thought. I hope it sparks some ideas for you!
