Hi Wendy,
Thank you for your great article… a true inspiration…at a time when I really need some encouraging.

There is so much negativity around these days it’s important to surround ourselves with positive influences.

The New Year brings opportunities & challenges. My ex passed away 3 days before xmas & it’s really rocked me, after him being in my life for 30 years….now that’s a long time.

On top of that my part time ‘job’ has changed my hours to the graveyard shift – a couple of early mornings & a later shift with no regard that I have a teenager to get organized for school (and who needs more supervision).

I’m staying positive and am determined to be more focused to move my business forward each day.

This is so true. It does take more than inspiration and some people don’t understand that. I think it’s why a lot of writers give up and tuck their dreams into drawers or stuff them in boxes under the bed. They’re inspired to be writers, but they fail to realize it takes the commitment and determination in the middle to make it to the end.

So true. Inspiration does not grow on trees, so because Wendy took the time to write and share this important tip..I’m going to remember to tell a few friends and family how proud I am of their accomplishments with their family businesses. Letting them know I acknowledge and respect what they’ve dared to accomplish in our competitive world today.

I’m starting with my son in law…he’ll be happy I read this..
