Our current in-office printer is on the fritz and slower than molasses, so winning this would make a big difference for our business. We save paper as much as possible, but we still do a lot of printing every day and especially would love to be able to print our own full-color linesheets and marketing brochures for those people who request hard copies in the mail.
As far as the logo, I really like the b*Fab logo, but really need a logo for my http://startupkidsline.com blog, where I share everything I can about the reality of starting your own children’s clothing line from scratch.

OH my, I think I am drooling over a printer. One of my biggest stresses in my business is getting my marketing materials printed for my lavender pillow business. My Dell all in one is 5 yrs old and fails me quite often. I end up paying someone to create my items when I could easily do them myself. Oh and my logo was a rush job and it could sure use a makeover.

Some of the best marketing advice: Make sure that if you in a room networking that you dont leave till you have talked to everyone and they all have your card, and you have their.

Also after 2 years in business, I have finally sprung for a professional web designer as I advice my clients to do. To also have a professionally designed logo would be a dream.

I do have a blog, but its mostly related to the business. My printer is almost on its last leg as we speak. Its an older (2004) HP all in one that has lived a hard and busy life. Eventually, I will need a modest amount of brochures (less than a lot of printers order requirements) and new business cards. A new printer would definitely come in handy for that.

I absolutely love this printer, especially since its wireless. I can’t even begin to list all of the cool things it can do. I can tell you that my daughter’s favorite thing is that it prints notebook paper. And she’s been printing off Halloween coloring pages. All by herself. That’s how easy it is to use. (She’s 6.)
It faxes. It scans. It copies so well you can’t even tell which one is the original. The photo editing and printing is outstanding. And it comes with an ArcSoft program that has a great selection of marketing materials like flyers and brochures. I’ve already printed off a few things including a 2009 calendar with pictures of my little girl on it.
This thing is FAST too! In the time it took my old printer to warm up and start printing the Workforce is DONE.
Whoever wins this is going to be more than happy with it! And those who need a new printer with lots of features for an affordable price definitely need to look into the Epson Workforce series.

What WOULDN’T I use that printer for? Because–odd as it sounds–at this moment, I don’t have a printer. At all.
I know. It sounds crazy. We have two functioning printers in the house, but neither are attached to my laptop, so to print anything, I either need to email it to one of the computers with printer access, or walk my laptop in and plug it in directly. (Because, no, no idea how to get a printer on the network.) So, the mere thought of being able to print stuff by, you know, clicking “Print” right there on my own computer and having whatever it is magically appear on paper? Well, it makes me giddy!

I would love a printer like this so I could stop running up and down the stairs. It’s a great workout, but my current printer (upstairs) only handles one piece of business card paper at a time, and the computer with correct software (downstairs) makes me run up and down the stairs whenever I need to print new cards.

My printer, which shall remain nameless, is less than efficient. While I will not be able to blog about this topic on my blog (which is about awards shows)…unless of course I win, and then I can blog about winning (cuz awards shows is all about the winning)…I can tell you what I would do if I won the Epson WorkForce 600. First of all, the WorkForce would sit happily atop its printer stand beaming down upon all of the other office equipment in the room as it spews forth creatively designed marketing material. Now if I won the logo portion of the contest, I would herald the logo high above my head, as if it were the Stanley Cup and I was an unnamed Stanley Cup winning team. There woud be lots of sweating and yelling and a few hip-checks involved. That’s what I would do if I won this fantastically opportunistic contest.

“What would you do with this prize if you won?”
I would give the printer and the yummy goodies that go with it to my husband. While I long for the day when I achieve success with my blog, one thing I want even more is for my husband to be successful in his small home-based business. He is a top-notch home inspector who deserves success. He goes the extra mile to provide an outstanding service to his customers. But just as he was starting to see real progress earlier this year, the housing industry started declining. Still, he perseveres while waiting for things to turn around. This would be a perfect time for him to get his hands on a fantastic printer and work on getting his name out there, so when the economy improves, home buyers will know who to call.
I am just a bit selfish though as I would keep the new logo for myself. I maintain a weight lifting for women blog and would use this logo to help get the word out to women of all ages the importance of strength training for maintaining good health.
And, admittedly, I would occasionally sneak into my husband’s office and use that printer for my own business marketing materials too!
If I won this printer, I would be able to improve our current system of printing out materials, which is (to put it mildly) inefficient and frustrating, since the printer has to be gently coaxed to do pretty much anything.

I would love a new printer. I would use it for printing business cards and brochures for the craft business I’m setting up. The logo would be great too, because at the moment I’m really working on the branding part of this.

What would I do? Well, first, I’d freak out. I don’t know about you, but a printer plus logo design? Heaven. I’ve never had a fax machine, and my desktop is cluttered with the printers and scanner I have here. This one machine would take care of both problems, and Epson is a great brand for printers

I’ve been doing a variety of freelance ventures for a few years (from editing to crafty things) and I’ve realized I need a logo and a more professional way to market myself. A printer that is not circa 1998 (still working, barely) would be a great start, as would logo design.

My ex-boyfriend broke my printer shortly before we broke up (printer curse?) and I haven’t managed to fix it in the years since. I know exactly what I’d do, though.
The obvious one is print business cards, tags, and display/packaging items to make my handmade goods that much more professional. Next up I’d use the printer in my business myself, printing patterns and art prints, pictures and text to be used in jewelry pieces, magnets and iron-ons and shrink-i-dinks, oh my! I’d print off inventory sheets and the like, because I work better with a physical copy of what I’ve got stored on my hard drive. I’d print inspiration and ideas. I’d print just about everything- and that’s just in relation to my business, not my personal life (letters, stories, personal photos) or college life (papers, reports, applications).

Oh my goodness—print new business cards and then buy a pack of printable fabric and go crazy! My current printer didn’t like printing on fabric.
What fun! Since I am just starting this whole process I would print business cards, post cards, flyers, labels and what ever else I discover I need as my business grows. I would use this printer to help my inlaws market their small business: brochures, cards, etc.
I would happily post my 3 printers on freecycle, so that they can go on to punish some other poor soul (I’ve been having bad luck with printers lately. I dream of having a printer that doesn’t think a brand new cartridge is empty, that doesn’t print a black blob on the corner of every page, that doesn’t eat the paper… ok, I think you’re getting the idea…).

About marketing. Toot, toot, toot your own horn because if you don’t no one else will. Talk about your business and website everywhere you go and leave your business cards everywhere you go too as in say you have a dr’s appt. Leave some of your cards by the magazines.

The logo design is a little harder to know what I would do with because I designed my own logo. I would probably go for designing a logo for a project I would like to start, but don’t have the time to design anything for, just yet.

I’m a stay-at-home mom who is preparing to launch my business shortly. I create ceramic components for jewelry designers to use in their own creations. I had a color printer/scanner, which was unpredictible at best; recently my toddler finished it off
I’ve been limping along with my black and white laser printer for a couple of months, but I need a color printer to show off my products. As an artist promoting to fellow artists, black and white printing doesn’t cut it; at the moment outsourcing all my color printing is cost prohibitive.
What would I use a new printer for? I plan to integrate all my marketing materials, including business cards, brochures, and product packaging. I need to assemble press kits featuring my new products. I also plan to create kits for sale using my components. Creating an image for my business based on quality materials and effective marketing tools is high on my list of priorities.
And lets not forget the occasional picture of a two year old wearing the latest in spaghetti couture….
Great timing - my printer broke last night and I was drooling at new Epson printers in Frys this morning! My assistant uses an Epson printer and we love the fact that it takes 6 ink cartridges - so we save money by just changing the color that’s out.
I’d use this printer to print my business cards at home - saving a few $$. I’d also use it to print my packing slips which will look so much better printed with a “real” pinter.

The best marketing advise that I have received from anyone is to give out at least 10 business cards a day and to make sure follow-ups are done within 24 hours if not earlier of initial contact.

It would give me an all in one to print beautiful marketing brochures and line sheets as well as being able to fax.
To get a professionally done logo would really put our marketing and sales business over the edge.
We are an eco-friendly company and prefer to do things digitally, but when it calls for print, it should definitely be beautiful and professional.
What a cool prize! I could really use a great printer like that for printing on-demand materials for my business, especially brochures, postcards and business cards. It would be great to consolidate devices, too, since I currently have three machine to do those functions (and they’re set up in two different rooms).
I would give this to my husband for Christmas. He is just starting up a catering business and I know he would just love this, especially his own Logo, (Smokehouse Gumbo) professionally made. Our old printer just stopped working and if we don’t get a stimulus package soon, from somewhere, LOL, we can’t afford a new one.
It would be so killer to have my own printer for business that I don’t have to share with the husband and 2 rugrats who have recently discovered how to print Jonas Brothers pics off the internet and Headshots of wrestlers from WWE. Can you tell I’ve got a pre-teen girl and a wrestling-lovin’ boy?
It would be great to know that when I printed work materials there would be ink in the printer cartridges and paper anywhere in the home office - anywhere!

Best marketing advice I have received is that analytics only tell half the story…the other half is customer intuition.

OH what wouldn’t I do? This baby is going on the fireplace mantle! It will be passed down through the generations to be awed and admired and totally cherished. It will boldly go where no one has gone before - printing up oodles of marketing fliers and brochures without breaking a sweat! Sweet! That extra printer cartridge means just ONE thing: there is no excuse NOT to get my work done!
A logo? Fantabulous! My now-ex graphic designer decided that graphic design is just “not her thing right now.” *sob* Can’t get my blog launched without one! What is a girl to do? Win this spifferific contest of course!
OH Epson WorkForce 600 Wireless Multifunctional printer, extra set of full-color ink cartridges, paper, cardstock, business card paper, labels, envelopes and everything else I need to create a complete set of business collateral, topped off with Randa Clay’s logo makin’ brilliance: we are going to be as happy together as a cherry on a sundae, as white on rice, as a hog in a bog! You get the idea.
My printer is over 10 years old. It still works but it’s getting harder and harder to find ink cartridges for it. To give you an idea of just how old it is, you can hear it from the other side of the house, screeching and blipping its way across the paper as it does its inky dance.
I want to write a blog post to enter the contest — but I’m not good on the techie stuff. How do I enter once I wrote the blog post? How does the “contest” know I wrote it? Do I put something in the blog post? Please explain.

I would use this spiffy uber-cool printer to “brand” myself by creating sales materials-business cards, brochures, class materials, etc. Having professional printing done is very expensive-I could do this all from home! Marketing is one of the most important aspects of any home-based business, and having a printer like this would make that task so much easier with fantastic, beautiful, professional results!

If I won this prize I would use it to kick off my new business. I’m especially excited about the logo and business cards. This week I found myself explaining to a mom in the grocery store how to cook kale so her family would eat it (crispy kale). It hit me that was the perfect time to have a business card to hand out for my soon to be healthy eating consulting business. However since I’m trying to start it on a shoe string I want to be making money before I spend it on things like a fancy logo.

I know EXACTLY what I would do with this baby! I would print out my portfolio. I am a scrapbook designer for hire and I would really like to print out in 8×10 a lot of my scrapbook pages I have made so that I can show potential clients what I am capable of, but to have them all printed as photos in 8×10 format is going to cost a small fortune. I don’t have a small fortune! And 5×7 is really too small, since I want potential clients to be able to see the details. This printer sounds like it would be great for that. Not to mention brochures for my business and flyers and….and…. LOL
