Or at least that is what Karen was trying to tell me via my comment spam.

It had been awhile since the comment spam had been cleared out on this blog so it was time to take a quick look through to make sure that there weren’t any legitimate comments caught in the land of spam.

That was when I saw that Karen was out searching for sex books and somehow managed to stumble across Dad Balance. :)

As much as comment spam can be a nuisance, sometimes you have to sit back and laugh at some of the things that you will see as the attempts get more creative and the spammers try to slip through the cracks.

In the slew of comments that were waiting to be deleted tonight, quite a few were of the variety mentioned above where some poor person was out searching Google for <insert keyword here/> and found this blog.

But you know what is really great?

They’ve each subscribed to the RSS feed and promise to keep coming back as well!

While enjoying a good laugh at the variety of spam comments, I could not help but to think back about a post on my personal blog that took a look at the most unique long tail search hits that were used to find my blog.

Little did I know at the time but apparently I missed my calling and should be writing a blog about sex - it seems to be a common theme.

What is the most creative spam or unique long tail that you have seen?

After seeing the filthy search phrases people used to find this post, I decided I had better block out THIS post in my robot.txt in case any m!lf hunters wanted to come ‘hunting’ around here. :D

I’m a fairly liberal gal and all, but really people, do you REALLY google these phrases?! You are gross!
