I’ll definitely try giving someone I don’t like a compliment today, but I’m worried if they make some dumb comment afterwards then I’ll say something mean back. I guess that’s when you bite you tongue?

What a great set of advices. I will try that compliment someone you aren’t fond of but it won’t be easy!
