I sort of had a "Man Cave" a while back. It came complete with a leather reclining chair (super comfortable!), a nice long table, which conveniently held many drinks (and also served as a foot rest), a tv (not the big screen I wanted but it fulfilled it's duties), and a seriously kick ass stereo to compliment everything.

But ever since my son was born, my used-to-be "Man Cave" now includes pacifiers, spit up bibs, diapers, a stroller, and a baby bouncer, among many other baby things. I guess it could be called the "Dad Cave" now.

@Chris :: Absolutely, it was fun to get a look at the Man Cave. Thanks for participating!

@Night Writer :: Lol, as long as it functions the way you need I don't see any problem with it. If you want to see "The Man Hole" (ok, that sounds really wrong) featured here, feel free to shoot me some pics.

I refer to my spot as "The Man Hole". It's ugly, cluttered and functional but works. I took an oak kitchen table and made it my desk, giving me lots of flat surface. I bolted in an articulated keyboard tray for proper typing height. It's in a corner of my basement and a bookcase to the left forms an "L"; the bookcase is a handy spot for reference materials and software. A separate table holds the printer and extra boxes of paper. I'm also positioned so that I can see the TV if I want to "multi-task". What does my wife think of it?

"It's smelly."
