I should have probably qualified that comment re: the airplane restroom by saying that I have never flown outside of the United States either, so my longest flight has been about 6 hours.

I generally enjoy the window seat, but for shorter flights where I only have carry-on, I prefer the aisle, because it means that I can get out quickly. It also provides the most leg room.

It’s insane that you’ve never used an airplane restroom. During my flights to Tokyo, Taipei, Hong Kong, etc., there is no way that I could survive without a washroom break.

You’ve never used an airplane bathroom? Even international flights? Once my sister told me she didn’t go to the bathroom in the flights to and from asia, I thought that was pretty crazy.

Yeah, I like people-watching too. On the bus, on the plane, waiting for whatever…
