Over the last few months The Man Page has had the opportunity to interview a handful of well-respected bloggers that also happen to be dads.
While interviews with these dads typically focus on their success with their blogs and businesses, these interviews took us to new places with many of these dads. We discussed their thoughts on work life balance, their experiences as a dad, and what they do to unplug.
Take a look at this selection of interviews to learn more:
- Alan Johnson from The Rating Blog
- Bill Pennington from Grumpy Security Guy
- Damien Riley from Postcards From the Funny Farm
- Darren Rowse from Problogger
- Jeremy Schoemaker from Shoemoney
- Leo Babauta from Zen Habits
Who would you like to see interviewed next?
Think about the dads (don’t necessarily have to be bloggers) that you would like to learn more about, including how they approach work life balance and what they do to unplug and relax.
Share your suggestions in the comments below and I will do my best to line up the interviews.
Don’t be shy, shoot for the moon.

The Man Page is your home to get career advice, parenting tips, or just kick back and escape from the pressure of being a man. Join Derek Semmler - a working husband and father to two young boys, as we tackle the issues facing men today and have a good deal of fun in the process. He also blogs at

James from Men With Pens, of course.
Enjoy,
Barbara

Sean Rassmussen from http://www.seanrasmussen.com would be a good candidate for an interview. Check him out!
All great suggestions so far and I will be doing my best to line these up.
Wendy, I’ve attempted to contact John Chow a few times about participating but never received a response.
Okay, now you did say “shoot for the moon,” so how about some dads that most of us would assume to be very unconventional?
Rock & roll guys, like um… Sammy Hagar, for example. I’ll just bet that underneath the party-boy facade, he’s a dad with very traditional values.
Likewise, I suspect that the ultimate “Mr. Quirky” a.k.a. Christpher Walken is no more off-kilter or oddball than any of us “regular” guys when he’s at home, away from the cameras and sheen of Hollywood. I dunno if he even has any children, but if so, it’d be interesting to find out what kind of dad he is…
And what about Steve Jobs or Bill Gates? I wonder if these guys are uncharacteristically analog with their children or if they push the high-tech agenda at home too?
