With the weather planned to be nasty here throughout the Midwest tonight, it is a perfect night to get home from work and curl up with the kids for a night of entertainment.
Shrek The Halls
In case you missed the first airing, you have another chance to catch the new holiday special featuring Shrek and the gang that is sure to entertain the entire family.
Michael Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy and Antonio Banderas return to provide the voices for Shrek, Fiona, Donkey and Puss in Boots as they gather at Shrek’s home for a Christmas celebration. As anyone that has hosted a holiday celebration will know, things don’t go quite as planned and Shrek learns a few lessons along the way.
We happened to see this the first time around but I am sure the kids will want to tune in again tonight.
Airs at 7:00pm on ABC.
Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too
Once the Shrek celebration winds down, you will be treated to an animated holiday classic featuring Winne the Pooh and friends as they get into the holiday spirit by making their Christmas lists for Santa Claus.
When one of the letters doesn’t get mailed, Pooh and Piglet decide to personally deliver the letter to the North Pole.
Airs at 7:30pm on ABC.
Santa Claus
With Christmas quickly approaching, your children are likely making their Christmas lists and dreaming about what Santa Claus will bring them this year.
Once the kids are sound asleep for the night, continue the spirit of the night and bring a smile to your child’s face this year with a personalized letter from Santa Claus that is postmarked from the North Pole. Given that kids get excited when they receive any piece of mail, they will be ecstatic when see a letter from Santa Claus himself.
Stay safe and enjoy a quiet night with the family!

Personally I am waiting for my favorite Xmas movie to come on - Miracle on 34th street (the original non colorised version).
I plan to make my children watch it ever year for the next 20 years whether they want to or not. I consider that one of the joys of parenting, making my kids suffer through the things I love regardless of their own feelings on the subject.
That is a great Christmas classic but certainly is an acquired taste for the kids.
