We here at The Man Page would like to dedicate today to all of the Moms and wish each and every one of you a Happy Mother’s Day!
Guys, be sure to take the time to tell your wife, your Mom, your sister, and any other Moms that you know how much they are appreciated and how much they mean to you.
In honor of Mother’s Day, I thought that I would share a little booklet that our youngest son made for his Mom:
My mother looks prettiest when… she goes somewhere fancy with my dad or all the time.
My mother likes it when… I go to sleep. (we got a good laugh from this one)
If I could give my mother something special, it would be… a huge HD flat screen TV and a theater. (I did not tell him to write that, honest)
My favorite thing about my mother is… she loves me.
The funniest thing I can remember about my mother… is when she tickles me and I fall off the couch.
My mother loves me when… I do my chores.
Mother, thank you for… taking care of me.
Take a moment to think through these thoughts and how you would answer them when thinking about your own Mom. It might be fun to write down your answers and share them with your Mom, as you are never too old to tell your Mom how much she means to you.
Happy Mother’s Day!

Really nice answers! My 7 year old made an audio tape in which I could have sworn he said, I really like it when my mom beats me.
Had to rewind that and play it again: turns out, he said, I really like it when my mom feeds me.
Happy Moms Day to all,
Barbara

Good job. You have done a fabulous job educating your kid about TVs.

That’s kinda sweet! I may use this for when our kids are older and can “participate” in something like this; at the moment they are only under 4, and under 4 months!
The audio recording one is innovative though- may do that for special occasions this year itself.
