oops, didn’t read the directions first. Oh well, this probably won’t be the best anyway. But I usually start with google to see what comes up, but then head to sites like Amazon and Overstock.com and finally e-bay.

i write nutritional articles, google is good but sometimes I end up at places where I can’t put what the articles say in layman’s terms – so i go to nutrition section of chiro.org and usually find a quality sourced often referenced article and an explanation too

I use both Google and comparison search engines (Froogle, etc.). That helps me find potential sources. I think solicit offers from the companies that appear to be the best match.

Interestingly, your official rules state:
“1. Entering Contests and Choosing and Contacting Winners
Winners of contests will be chosen at random from entries received on the http://www.eMomsatHome.com website by submitting a completed online entry form.”

While the contest description states:
“The iPod Nano will be awarded to the person that gives us the best tip on using the web to source products for their business.”

Clearly the description given doesn’t fit with the rules (which are what must, legally, be followed).

The best way to get your product out there on the internet would probably be putting marketing resources into social networking sites such as facebook or myspace rather than google. Google has many more users but, its harder to get attention from google users since there are so many. I believe through Facebook, Myspace and other online social networks (maybe there are some related to that retail market) there is a greater chance of “word of mouth”.

Before making a purchase on a website check to see if there is a coupon by googleing the name of the website and coupon code.
