I admit it, my big blogging dream is to get a corporate sponsorship! Then I can say goodbye to “welfare for webmasters” (i.e., Google AdSense) and can stop obssessing about CPM rates. If you too are looking for a company to sponsor your blog, here is some advice from Geoff Nelson of BuzzCorps.com, whose marketing company helped bloggers get $500,000 in corporate sponsorships this past year. Clearly these guys know what it means to “show me the money!”

My goal is to get to a blog conference, but I’m pretty new so I think I’m just going to have to save my pennies this year and pay my own way to BWE 09 or BlogHer!!
For the life of me, I cannot figure this out. I saw something about creating “your own site” and thought, “Wow, that would be good…I could display some of my work.” I am an Op-Ed columnist but want more exposure…hopefully ways to get seen by publications looking for columnists, i.e “syndication.”
Anyway, I can’t even find the sign-up. So…I may be lost, but damn, I’m making good time.
Can anybody out there help me? Hellooo!
