Do you have one or two programs that you use a lot and wish there was an easier way to get it to open rather than wade through the long list of programs? The good news is, you don’t have to spend a few minutes looking for the program. Just pin it to your start menu. Here’s how.
Click Start, All Programs, find the software you want to pin, right click it, select Pin to Start Menu.

Now, the program will appear in the Start Menu for quick access.

Don’t want to pin it there anymore? Then right click on the software title, select Unpin from Start Menu

*Note: The screen shots are done on Windows XP but the process is the same in Vista as well.
