To say thank you shows politeness and kindness. Every customer wants to be treated friendly and politely. Therefor it is good advertising too.

Saying thank you is so important. My fifteen year old daughter and I were talkng about it today. She is late for the bus almost every morning. Her sweet bus driver always waits for her. She told me that she always makes sure she says thank you when she gets on the bus and when she gets off the bus - that display of gratitude goes a long way - the bus waits for her!
