Tee hee! Duh! Why didn't I think about that? You're right. Getting out and satisfying the craving helps a lot. I find being outside actually focuses, re-energizes and motivates me. Sometimes I forget that the wireless also works outside the house too. Put the 2 year old in the swing, the 5 year old in the pool, and dad can work on the laptop.

Thanks for the helpful suggestions! I would add that for someone like me who will never, ever wake up 4 hours before my daughter (I’m a confirmed night owl), it can help to do some work at night. That way I have some extra time to play with my daughter during the day, and I can get stuff done after she goes to sleep. Otherwise I’ll just waste that time watching tv anyway

Being able to set out in my garden with my laptop thanks to my wireless internet almost makes me feel like I’m not working! Your tip on getting up early is a good one too. At my house with teenagers sleeping in I don’t have to get up too early though to get work done before they get up !
