Connecting With Google Video Chat

Google rolled out a new tool for Gmail and Google Chat users today. The new Google Audio and Video chat option lets me start a real time conversation right from my gmail screen.
I’m loving this and other new bells and whistles that have been offered up as options for Gmail lately, like the canned responses and the calender in the sidebar.
Here’s a peek at the video chat screen from my test session with Tammy Munson…
Pretty glamorous aren’t we? 
I will likely only use this for chats with friends. I doubt I’d want to have to get my face all made up and hairs in place for anything terribly important.

I think that’s super cool. Too bad my Gmail account still wasn’t letting me log into messenger. I’d definitely only use it for chatting with friends.
