I dream of a work-free vacation. For the last ten years, every vacation I have had included some work, be it transcription or writing. I actually paid to have Internet installed at the last house we vacationed at, so I could get some work done. I couldn't afford to miss a whole week's work, literally. Maybe this year will be the year!

All valid points, Leslie. The plan ahead one is vital. I recently had a short getaway and failed to heed that advice. Felt like it took me another week to play catch up. Never again. I'll still enjoy time away but will just front load it next time. A week at the beach? Is it hard to get back to reality at home??
