Just thought I’d stop in before bedtime and answer your question.

What I do is figure up my annual energy consumption from my servers, my lights, my office computer, printer, etc. Then I purchase what are called renewable energy certificates (RECs) equal up to 100 percent of my energy consumption. For every certificate I purchase, one megawatt hour of renewable energy is generated.

For example, the RECs I purchase help fund renewable energy generated in wind farms.
