Today is one of those great days I’ve built my business for and I look forward to many more just like it.
I got in the car with my laptop and BlackBerry and drove across the state to hang out with a work at home friend who also happens to be my virtual assistant and who has just agreed to accept a new position as my affiliate program manager.
I can’t wait until I do this sort of thing on a regular basis.
I’ll get in the car in the morning with driving instructions and something fresh to listen to on my Mp3 player. I’ll drive south, leaving Michigan for the first time in several years and meet up with my pal Annette Yen for lunch, then head further south to spend the night with Sandra Jensen.
On another day I’ll head south west into Missouri to meet Nell Talercio. Then it will be a trip to the deep south to hang out with Carrie Lauth and further even to wrap a big old hug around Nicole Dean.
Some other time I’ll head east to meet Christina Lemmey in New York and Aurelia Williams in DC. If I can work it out I’ll veer south to Tennesee to have my first sushi experience with Lynn Terry.
Then I’ll head south by south west again only this time I’ll drive all the way to Texas. I have to meet my long time friend Chele Neisler and I won’t miss seeing Regina Baker while I’m there.
The list goes on… I haven’t even gotten into the west yet.
I will most definitely travel up into Canada too. There’s Vera Raposo, Angela Wills, Sharon McMillan, Sarah Zeldman, Leesa Barnes – all women I look forward to meeting in person.
And when I get up the gumption for a cross continental trek I’ll finally meet my pal Alice Seba. I’ll get to meet Diana Walker too!
And it will have all started with today’s little trip across state
