"A small investment in some on-hand inventory will be money well spent." Good article, I also totally agree to that statement.

Agreed! I have many people want to sign up with the least investment possible.

Even with our MOST expensive sign up package, it's still MUCH less than purchasing a franchise, or opening up a traditional business from scratch.

In the past when people do start up and I recommend they start with their own home party to introduce their new business, they will then say, 'well, how do I do that without inventory? Because I won't have any inventory if I start with the smallest package.'

HELLO.

If the desire is there, there are ways to create the finances necessary to purchase a good start up package.

Thanks for the insight!

I totally agree. Inventory can definitely grow your business. We live in a world of immediate gratification.
Leaving a table at an expo with one small purchase will lead to more. However, the intention to go home and order will leave the potential customers mind before they even get into the parking lot. Having inventory can also spark alot of regulars. Those people that know they can always come to you for a spur of the moment item. I have found many creative ways to market my business but the common denominator has always been my inventory.
