Sweet Web Based Graphics Tool

I wish I had five bucks for every time a mom asked me for a recommendation on a graphics program.

Most WAHMs have simple graphics needs. They want to add a heading to a photograph or create a simple button or banner to use in promoting their website.

Myself, I mostly use an ancient program called Image Composer that used to come bundled with FrontPage years ago. I know it like the back of my hand and can make graphics fast and easy with it – but it has major limitations. I also use Photoshop – sort of like how a toddler might use a violin

There’s a great user friendly graphics software tool called Web Graphics Creator that I’ve played with and recommended often and that comes from Laughing Bird Software. It has some neat extras like a flip book creator and its affordable.

I just found a pretty sweet web based tool that will be a great solution for the occasional graphic editing project. It is called Splashup and it’s totally free to use.

The Splashup tool opens up on your screen without a download and the layout reminds me of a simple Photoshop.
