Glad to see you found a more efficient means of keeping your schedule in line with the Google Calendar. Organization, as you surely know, is key in succeeding in a home-based business. It can prove to be difficult setting your own rules, regulations and deadlines, but that’s the kind of self-discipline needed in a home business owner. For example, I’ve taken the web route with my business using Microsoft’s new Office Live Small Business. Have you heard of it? It’s a great tool for any entrepreneur, mompreneur, WAHM, whatever you want to call it, and I know from personal experience that it can benefit your business in more ways than one. It comes with an organized e-mail system that checks the status of sent e-mails, consolidates your invoices, and sends you weekly traffic reports to your website. Speaking of which, regardless of your web design knowledge, you can make a nifty website with OLSB’s easy-to-use page layout designer. I don’t know the first thing about HTML and I designed a fabulous page for myself!

I have been digital for a while now, using it in the corporate world, at a title company, was a must! I got used to using MS Outlook, and loved it! Now that I am (soon-to-be) working from home I have started using Outlook Express, which sync’s with Google Calendar and also my Smartphone! Love it all!

I tried using paper planners back in the day, but could never get in the habit of it and thought it was more time consuming than helpful. Now, I just enter appointments, etc. in Outlook Express or Google, and they all sync.

My hubby and I even had separate calendars that we shared with each other, but we’ve condensed everything into one, so I have his work schedule, the kids stuff, church stuff, all on one calendar so I am sure not to double book! And I can work around everything, keeping God first, family next!

Well…you’ve got me thinking now that you made the move. Paper was starting to take over my life so I’ve started cutting back on what I print or keep in print form. Next step is to digitize my calendar. You’re giving me encouragement. I’ll have to check out Google Calendar.

I was never very good with a paper planner!! I haven’t invested in a GOOD digital pda yet.. but i want too
i guess the paper will have to stay for now lol

Yes, digital is the way to go. If I write anything down on paper that is super important forget it because it will end up getting lost.
